About Dans Plants
Dans Plants have been operating in the Australian market for over 20 years.
Established in 1995, the company has grown to be one of the largest Australian wholesale nurseries and suppliers.
Dans Plants supplies major retailers, wholesale nurseries, garden centres, landscapers, builders and developers Australia-wide and offers a huge selection of products in several pot sizes.
Challenging owners Dave and Danny was the enormous logistical challenge of producing thousands of different potted plant lines in several pot sizes and keeping track of them in an efficient manner.

In one of their regular international trips that Dave and Danny undertake to seek solutions and ideas relevant to their growing business, they visited LOGIQS long time customer: Ubink Nurseries in the Netherlands and saw the Logiqs pot plant handling system utilising the 1st generation of Logiqs shuttles.
Immediately inspired, it was not long before research was underway to assess the systems application and relevance to Dans Plants own nursery production and for it to deliver streamlined production and realise cost savings through the automation step.
The system we delivered
A flexible automated rolling bench system, using 400+ Moduline rolling benches and a Logiqs automated transport vehicle with a Shuttle.
The system also makes use of several A-Track automated transport lines, an empty bench Overhead Crane as well as a 100 Degree bench cleaner.
The benching system and automation are controlled using our industry leading greenhouse control and registration software: Dat-A-Control.
After sales services
Logiqs has its own experienced installation and service team based in the Netherlands, but also collaborates with reliable service engineer teams in several countries so as to prevent unnecessary installation or maintenance costs.
Our customers can always rely on prompt and efficient attention for routine maintenance, breakdown or emergency situations.
Routine preventative maintenance can be tailored to the customer’s choice, with service intervals to suit the specific needs of the logistical system.
