About Ubink Cactus and Succulent Nursery
The Ubink B.V. wholesale nursery has been producing cacti and succulents since 1927.
Because of the hard work and vision of the Ubink family, the nursery has grown in time becoming one of the top cactus producers in the world.
Moreover, the Ubink family also became been a shareholder in Succulent Valley since 2009. Located in the sunny south of Tenerife, with a modern production location of 120,000 m².
The range of products produced includes plants from 5 cms to 4 m tall, flowering cacti, opuntia, echinocactus, cereus, echeveria, klanchoe and many other types.

The project
A few highlights of the automated benching system we delivered are as follows:
- An Automated Transport Vehicle working in conjunction with our 1st generation Shuttles
- 100 Degree Rolling bench Cleaner and the inherent logistics system for feeding the dirty benches and for retrieving the clean ones;
- Automated Irrigation booms/gantries with both spaying capacity and ebb and flood capabilities
Software
The entire rolling bench system is controlled using our industry leading control and registration software Dat-A-Control.
Besides the control of benches and machines, Dat-A-Control also gives the grower full access to the registration database for plant movements and undergone production processes, making the management of the nursery more efficient.
After sales services
Logiqs has its own experienced installation and service team based in the Netherlands, but also collaborates with reliable service engineer teams in several countries so as to prevent unnecessary installation or maintenance costs.
Our customers can always rely on prompt and efficient attention for routine maintenance, breakdown or emergency situations.
